Country Drive Before Super Bowl!

Today was in the low to mid-60s and just too beautiful to stay home.  So, Cliff and I went for a short drive.  This guy, and his partner on the other side of the road, were waiting for Cliff and I to move along as there was roadkill just waiting for them.  But I had Cliff slow down so I could take a photo of this fine creature.  I have never seen a buzzard perch on top of a fence post (or in this case a vineyard post) before.

This photo was taken inside the car (shooting through the windshield makes the photos a little cloudy).  This is Cox Ferry Road and I never tire of it's unique hilly path.

This was taken in a very small town called La Grange.  It is the old jailhouse that is now a historical building.  People rarely notice it...what am I talking about...people barely notice La Grange!

The above photo is a Chinese Rock Wall built in the 1860s.  We see these throughout the foothills here, but I have never been this close to one before (behind a fence).  I believe most of the walls were constructed by the Chinese who were paid poorly (and probably mistreated) for the intense labor.   http://hubpages.com/hub/Chinese-Walls

We were on our way out of La Grange when I asked Cliff to slow down a bit so I could get a shot of this old house.  I have taken a photo of it before, but not while moving.  I can't say why, but it always intrigues me as a photo.
